Tell Me The Time

 My Reflection
in this activity i told the time. first i had to move the hour hand and the minute hand to show the time.my success criteria is i can move the hour hand and the minute hand to show the correct time. i can tell the time and show the time. l am still learning to learn more about time.

bug masks

my reflection in this activy i had to go to the saitry garden and wear our bug masks. miss fisher took pictures of us. my next step is to make a better painting for my bug mask.

Six Sentence Story

my reflection
today i did a six sentence story so i had think about a bug and make a six sentence story about it.
it was kind of easy because i had to make a story about it.

Making Predictions

  We had to look at the book's cover and judge it. Then we had to say what we notice about the cover and what the keywords in the blurb are. And we had to make predictions. My next step is to read the book to see if I'm right.

Term 4 Countdown

In this activity I had to count how many weeks and days there are in Term 4. I coloured in the boxes. I used adding to find my answers.

My Reflection
In this activity I  did extending vocabulary on wonder learning centre.
I learn about how to spell the words on the google dictionary.
The part I enjoyed is guessing what the words are.
My next step is to learn more about these words.

Figurative Language

in this activity my task was to look for sentences and see witch ones are similes or metaphors.
i learnt what metaphors and similes are.
i enjoyed making my own simile.
my next steps are to practise more metaphors and similes.

Place Value, compare numbers

In this activity my task was to look in the middle number and then we answer the questions either 1000more, 100less, 100more and 100less.
I enjoyed doing it because I like to learn maths.
I want to learn more about comparing numbers.
I found this tricky because I did the thousands and hundreds and it got pretty difficult.
My next steps are to practise more at this so I can learn more.

Place Value

the part i did well is doing it and the way i felled about it was tricky
i am still learning to learn more about place values to practise

Explanation Writing

IALT write an explanation about the bug habitat and how to make it.
The trickiest part was thinking about the ideas.
Sequencing words are like then, firstly, secondly, next
Technical words I used are bug masks, tank, container
My next step is to write another one to practice

WALT identify the features of an explanation. the features

 i found are: introduction,verb,conclusion and sequencing words. 

my next step is to  write my own explanation. i felt nervous  because it felt difficult. 

argument Writing

In this activity I had to write a argument if we should have a bug habitat in the class or not.
I can now write a argument confidently and properly.
I am still learning to think of more rosins.
I am proud of the hard work I did.
My next stem is to give more detail for my answers.
The most helpful tool was the way this activity was set out. I like having the success criteria in one box and my work in the next box.

Insect Mouthparts

Me and Connor did the insect mouthparts. the part i did well was the image and what i fell about it was amazing. i can now insert screenshots.

Mathletics

Reflection the first thing i had to do is first i had to get the biggest number and go down to the smallest number. i feel proud because i did this really quickly. i can now do place values more quicker. my next steps is to do even bigger numbers.

Ko Ahau

Me and Anamika did the ko ahau poem we got it from a poem called ko ahau so we did it. the thing i was good at was making my own poem and the way i felt was happy. my nexts steps is to add more adjectives.

Brains

we are learning about brains it was fun making the slide because we needed to searched up lots of brain things it was hard at the beginning  but at the end it was easy.   my next step is to learn lots of brains.
