Features of non-fiction texts

Reflection
I am learning to describe the features of non-fiction texts.  I found this hard and I needed a buddy to help me to match the words and the pictures.

Making bundles of 10 and 1

Reflection
I have been learning to make bundles of 10 and 1 by splitting numbers using my place value.  My next steps are to be able to split numbers to use my basic facts to solve addition and subtraction problems.

I am learning to add detail and WOW word.  My next steps are to add capital letters in the right places.

Describing the features fiction texts

I am learning about fiction stories.  Fiction stories have fake things and fake people called characters.  It was hard to understand the setting and the problem.

Counting on and back using the number line

I am learning to count backwards and forwards by using the number line.  It was hard to keep track of the counting and drawing.

It was hard to put the full stops in the right place. But it was easy to use capital letters.
